I think there's a few people who would like to get a hold of your collection.Don't have a scanner by any chance do you? |

Issue one signed by JR? That's pretty cool, how did you manage that?

Did you get your issue 1 signed at the old PCW show? I met all the team at the 86 event and had Issue 16 signed by JR! |

I think I've got issues 1-12 of The Games Machine, in the official binder, as well :-)I do have a scanner, but not the time, I'm afraid. Mort guessed correctly - I got issue one signed by JR at a computer show, but I can't remember which one. It was the one with the "System 3" (?) girls, that caused all the controversy, I think. I met Jeff Minter there too, but I was just another silly fan boy at the time...

I think the show you were at was the 8th Pcw show at Olympia in September 85.The system 3 controversy was over the publicity for the abysmal game Twister Mother of Harlots(changed to charlott!)for the Spectrum. It involved some scantilly clad women dancing on a stage who were told to cover up by the organisers!! |

Boy, have times changed. You hardly see any displays without scantily clad women nowadays. Not that I'm complaining :) |

I heard about Twister and the stand, pity I wasn't there to see it. Would have been interesting for me, I was only 11 at the time heh.Little known fact: did you know the C64 version of Twister was written by Sensible Software before they broke out on their own? |
