Replying to Morpheus reminded me about the great times that were had during the 3 times yearly rush to London to Both Commodore Shows and the larger Multiformat Pcw .I cannot understand why there are no Multiformat shows at the moment held for the general public,I still attend the odd World of Amiga show out of Duty! With the amount of different platforms out there it seems crazy not having at least 1 major event!!

Yep, I remember going to about 5 Commodore shows and meeting many of Zzap! guys there (Jaz, Gaz, Oli, Gordo, Kati, Hogg etc) and buying lots of cheap priced games. Which was good because pocket money wasn't as much as it is now!
I remember queuing up outside the Novotel in Hammersmith for 45 minutes at the front, chatting to people and finding out what they were going to buy that day. Games were often half price, I remember getting Powerdrift for Ł5 there just after it was released. Plus the bargain bins were great for things you may have missed the first time around. I remember getting Paradroid, Iridis Alpha, Monty on the Run, Confuzion and many others for Ł1 or less...
