I've got SkoolDaze, but I can't find the sequel to it anywhere! I think it was called Back to Skool, or something along those lines. I only remember seeing it once, a complete dogs age ago in a shop, but didn't have the money to buy it (well, i WAS only a kid at school at the time!) :( . If anyone knows where i can download it I'd be ever so grateful (again!)

It was only released for the Spectrum, so no need to keep searching...

Listen, I only stumbled upon this whole sorry site because Christopher Blimmin Hayward sent me an email simply saying "Are we being stalked?" with the URL beneath. And now... this! Why? Why on god's green earth would anyone in their right mind spend a nanosecond of their priceless time playing Back To School II? Why, god, WHY? Then again, maybe I've just anwered my own question...

You might as well say "why would anyone watch black and white films?"

Older games have different qualities, they're wackier and more eccentric. Just like some old sci-fi films were.

These days the games companies are obsessed with 3D engines and "realism" just like Hollywood is obsessed with special FX. The problem is the games companies have forgotten about gameplay just like Hollywood doesn't seem to care so much about plot and a good script.

You can classify most modern games into:

*Driving games
*Shooting games
*RPG
*Sports simulation
*Platformers

Now many of these categories apply to 8-bit games but even platformers had many different types and styles. There's quite a big difference between Manic Miner and New Zealand Story for example.

Also since I have a Nokia 9210 I can run Spectrum and Commodore games which suit the small screen and keyboard just fine, although there are 3D games for it.

You spent more than a "nano second" on the reply buddy.
