I take it this has a restriction on each user, so there's not a repeat of the previous situation?

It might also be a good idea to put a PayPal donation type link up there to support you paying for this.

That is good news. The moment I get a connection capable of downloading the issues some leech goes and spoils it all.

I'd be happy to make a PayPal donation in order to be able to d/l the scans.

Thats not a bad idea. Maybe donation later. After all, no one got paid to scan them. We are up to issue 15 back online.

Ian, you can reference them in you old dir. structure, on www.zzap64.org, I'll mail you a login and password shortly. I'm also willing to burn CDs of issues for Australian customers. Once Ian has approved and burnt a master copy. Will keep you posted.

And yes, bad people will not get much luck leeching all the issues!

Oh I dunno, I'd be prepared to pay. I'm sure all the Zzap issues are going to need quite a few CDs (8-10?) to fit on anyway - that will also cost money.

BTW, when the issues do go back online, what is an acceptable download? 1 issue a day? 3? 5?

I planned not to do the cd`s to start with but at least that way people can get all the issues without having to spend a year trying to download them all :-)

The cost should be around £20 for all the cd`s (about 6-8 in all). I have spent the last couple of months working on them so they should be complete by the back in time event and James is right, I never got paid to scan them, just blame the drugs and the high of getting positive feedback on Lemon etc :-p

Well £20 sounds like a bargain to me, considering all the effort that's been put in.

Will it just be a collection of the scans on CD, or have they been pieced together to form issues?

I have tried to put 2 years worth of zzaps on each cd in there own directorys unzipped so they are easily viewable with slideshow programs such as hypersnaps dx etc. All issues will have the extras such as the megatapes with them (apart from the free issue of Lm as I am still trying to source a copy :-( ) maybe somebody can help? apart from that missing item everything should be included including the high res copy of 107!

Great news. How many issues is it acceptable to download in one day?

BTW... Zzap issue 3, page 33 is missing.

That's good news! I've actually been busy the past week so I haven't really been online. Links will be uploaded within the next couple of days then!
