What does it mean? This phrase often shoved up in Zzap, especially issues 44-50.I guess itīs something typically British :) Please let me know.

It reminds me of something like a Carry On film when someone's breast pops out and all the dirty old men so "Cor blimey" |

If we're going to look at the English language it is actually a derivation of 'God blind me' which through the centuries became cor blimey. Therefore in some circles it's actually frowned upon as an expression. It is typically English and as mentioned above is used in the 'wow' / 'carry on' modes, but you can see that the original words make sense even in these uses - you see an amazing carry on 'pair' and say 'God blind me' because of the incredible sight... Well, you get it don't you? English lesson over. |
