Oliver Frey did a great job in illustrating the cover for 107.Am i the only one who thinks the person on the cover looks a wee bit like Rogue Trooper, that old comic in 2000ad? That was a fun comic, i should start buying 2000ad again. |

Heh heh--very perceptive. :) I made a post about this to the Yahoo! 107 group, and I thought here at some point, too. Anyway, the cover was based on a pic of Rogue that Oli did for 2000 AD some years ago. I took it into Photoshop, recoloured it, amended some details and then totally changed the background. The explosions and stuff in the sky were both taken from other Oli covers. So while Oli didn't actually do a new cover for 107, we did end up with a totally original and one-off piece of Oli art anyway (we wanted something that you couldn't get anywhere else). All it took was me + Photoshop + hard graft for half a day! This is also why I took some credit for the cover in the masthead! :) As an aside, Rogue's now back in 2000 AD, too... |

Thatīs nice.I think iīll start searching thru my huge comic collection for some old 2000ad magazines.:) |
