Well, at BITLIVE 3 we received the box with 100 printed zzaps, and we sold at least 19 of 'm that night. Not only to people who already had ordered them. So, that's the reason Iain ran out of zzaps.
I hope he will set things straight soon for all of you poor zzap107-less people.
CHeerS!

I was handed about 10 - 15 copies of the printed Zzap! 64 #107 at Back in Time Live and told "sell 'em if you can" (i was the one taking the money on the door, if you did not know - my picture is shown on some of the sites linked from the BIT Live site ... dont look, its not a nice sight)
so i did.
i did ok because i was selling to people right at the end of the night who had come in, not for the SID or the C64, but because it was a club that was still open and had beer !
i thought at the time " erm.. 100 printed. 97 ordered ... there are more than 3 here. some people must have pulled out and they have spares"
if i had known, or been told, that orders had not been filled i would not have sold them.
i guess if more are being printed its ok for those that missed out, but it makes me out to be a lier because i was selling them as 'limited run, 100 issues only once in a life time oppertunity!' when people (who were not 'in the know') asked "HOW F'KIN MUCH ?!??!"
i guess another good thing is, the people who bought them without knowing 'the scene' will now know the scene.

While I've now got mine, I think it's a bit crummy after about four months that people are still waiting on the possibility of another print run that'll happen 'some time in the future'. C'mon Iain, I know you're busy, but these people are some of the long-timers in the scene who really wanted tyhis, rather than those who may have chanced across it at BIT and thought, "oh, sod it, why not?"

As for the limited 100, I'm not too concerned about that, seeing as 100 was what was needed to get the pricing to a sensible level. If we could have sold 200, I'm sure we would have.

iam just sick waiting, 4 months is a long time and it'll probably be a few more months till they get reprinted.
does anyone know when/if the re-run will happen?

I original thought that I'd only be able to have one print run. But George mentioned that night that since he had all the templates for the printing etc. it would be no problem to print some more of them. Not really something to complain about.

The reason why I didn't get more done sooner was that I didn't have the money. I haven't had a job since November and my new job was screwing around with my wages so I was borrowing off my parents and running up a lot my credit card, so there was no way I was going to add more to it by getting more issues printed.

No credit cards are charged until the issues are mailed out since George gave me a months credit on the printing, something that I thought wouldn't be possible before and certainly woudln't have been with any other printer.
