Arghh! I can`t believe it - I was looking for info on old Megatapes and found this site, in turn finding page scans and info on each of the magazine issues. My name is William Quinn and I wrote a two part Graphic Adventure Creator (GAC) game called LA Adventure - which appeared in issues 87 and 88. I remember getting paid 100 quid for that, totally made my day!man, I can`t believe how much this site rocks. I just downloaded issue 88 Megatape TAP files - gonna try and get them running. There`s no issue 87 Megatape - so I can`t get part one of my adventure back and I think part two requires a code to continue play - typical ;o) hehehe I`m damned if I can remember the solution to it all either. Anyway, you all rule.

To find part one, stick "la adventure"+c64 into Google--you'll get plenty of results, including http://cia.c64.org/games/l/ which should help you find part one. I dare say solutions will be out there, too. |

Wuhoo! Thanks :o) I found numerous sites with both parts of the game, I`ve downloaded and managed to run them.I also found the password to play part 2 - I found it in my old Commodore 64 box, which was sitting in the attic. Maps but no complete solution is there, so I`ll still have to play the game. This is all very bizarre, but extremely funky. :o) Thanks for everyone`s assistance :oD |
