Got an email from Amazon, the book is dispatched. Yup, yup! :)

Excellent! It was saying 3 to 4 weeks to dispatch a couple of days ago, but I guess they have them in stock now.

Be sure to give us a review, whoever gets it first!! :)

Still says 4–6 weeks at the moment. Maybe Amazon only bought ten copies or so, and needs a restock—already.

Well, you'd think at least they'd get enough in to fufill the pre-prders. Their "dispatch time" seems fairly dodgy these days. The estimate for the C64DTV has been all over the place

Amazon are pretty hopeless. Mind you, I can't complain too much: this morning, I got a full refund after getting ripped off by one of Amazon's "marketplace" sellers (the refund coming from Amazon, not the seller).

Just got the Oli Frey art book direct from Thalamus, and it is Awesome!, very very interesting with a bit of the history behind most of the pics also aswell as the indepth feature on how Oli creates the different types of paintings.

Ps there is a nice plug for the site and Craig, myself Iain and of course not forgetting Rob aka Mr ZZapback.

I even got my own Olibug added by Mr Frey .

Just get it as the advert suggests :P

When are you scanning it?

Only joking, I don't want you to receive a letter from Thalamus lawyers

:-D That thought crossed my mind as well! I hope Roger sent him an extra shinny pages copy that's impossible to scan! ;-)

I got my copy today as well. Only just had time to browse through it, but it looks great and the text is very interesting (not that I'm much past the birth of Crash yet).

Let's hope it sells by the bucket load and maybe there'll be a full history of Newsfield book next! ;-)

Being modest, but I've recall that the ZZAP cover for Sensible Tennis featuring a blonde (male!) tennis player looks suspiciously like my good handsome self? Well, maybe Oli was stuck for inspiration.........

I did the interview with Sensible Software at the time, maybe that helped.

I love his art, and from a PC magazine I got a Oliver Frey calender which was artwork from various magazines like ZZAP! and some Atari one. I love the Lemmings one. *^_^* \m/

Just spotted this in one of those Book Club offers - "Fantasy & SF" book club from BCA. £1.99 is a bargain!*

*You have to buy four more books at the same time, so that's a minimum of another £8. Then stay in the club for two years, meaning you'll spend a lot more...
