Indeed, it's the sort of thing I picked up in the one and only time I met you. Commodore Show 1988 some time in the Autumn. Armalyte was just about to be released and it was playing across from the stand. I'm sure I spent 20 minutes chatting, whilst Oli signed posters along the way.

@Mayhem. You know, I actually remember standing and having that conversation :) (though I'm buggered if I can remember the details, I can't even remember stuff from yesterday afternoon these days). And I really enjoyed that show, because it was full of people who really, really liked games -- a much rarer thing then than it is now.

It's not what I want to be doing either, TBH, but plumbers (and other handymen) are so bloody expensive here, the thought of paying them £100 to fix a tap makes me queasy.
