Hey great! But wait, wasn't Phil the one who was fat and Steve Shields burst out of him and became the new editor? *^_^* \m/

Just heard that Phil King has been made Editor of nrevolution.

Hopefully he can turn the mag around as lately it seems to have been targeted at ten year olds (free sweets and just a 'childish' look to it). The forum is even worse. :?

Where did you hear that? He's not listed as editor on the magazine's website.

It was mentioned on the forum* last week by the Editorial Director (Dan Slingsby) - apparently he is joining as Editor this week.

The mag is currently put together out of house by Andy Dyer (ex Commodore Format, Super Play etc). Unfortunately the quality has decreased over the last year or so and it just looks pretty cheap at the moment.

*a forum which is mostly populated by 14 year olds with half a page banners!

Pretty much sums up many of IP's magazine forums at present, save one or two...

Dyer also writes almost all of MacFormat's gaming pages.
