Amtix Anthology done :-)

Happy new year,

Just a quick advert to say that I have now finished the Amtix Anthology set. This comprises of all the Amtix issues including issue 0! which was given away at the 85 Pcw show (thanks Nich). This is the other sister mag to ZZap other than Crash which ran sadly for only 18 issues. Good news is this means the whole lot fits on 1 silver disk. So the cost of this set will be £6.50 + £1 P&P (buys me a beer for the effort) . If you are interested please email or send me a private message.

The Games Machine will be next!

Now who will host these in the future?

God, man, take a break! You'll exhaust yourself. ;) But well done on another archiving job -- we need more people like you in the world (particularly for all those old BBC Dr Who classics that they chucked out).

You're raving mad Mort, but you do a totally excellent job.
I can't imagine other people scanning in endless volumes of whatever magazine that was or is out there, except for you and some other c64/retro nutcases.

Like myself actually, since I started scanning in all the retropages of games tm (and the 3 retro special from edge), and I'm going to put them online at zzapback somewhere this year. (I dunno if I'd really get into trouble copyright-wise?)
If anyone could help me getting a complete Games TM collection (o ronly the retro pages) I'd appreciate it. I've missed the following issues: 2 & 4-8. I pay a good price and cover s&h.

I also scanned in the *entire* Chrono Trigger (snes) official player's guide hi-res. (128 pages or so, I know that's nothing Mort  ) I think of selling them online since copies of the book go for ridiculous prices on eBay and nintendo's not going to re-print anyway.

This site should be running now, but isn't (yet) since I'm busy with this one, a very good band I must say. English translation will follow soon.
(I'm in the Idle Banter section, am I? phew!)
Ok, enough of that.
Ta!

Could be a bit dodgy, especially as back issues are still availiable to buy - One option would be to email the publishers (Highbury Paragon) and ask for permission, though for the reasons outlined above, they might decline?

I guarantee that if you ask for permission they will say no. In these cases, it's usually best to put stuff online and then get told to take it down. *However*, I most definitely wouldn't feel comfortable uploading such recent stuff. Zzap (etc) is a whole different ball game: not only is the publisher gone, but the magazine came out over a decade ago.
