hey longhand types.
now I know some of you peeps have had stuff published. Book, mags , etc. I was just wondering how you go about getting stuff printed. Lately I've been a little disatisfied at work ,so I'm thinking, why not try something else ,something i enjoy.(that'd be scribbling)

I'm thinking ,god I wish I'd listened to my College tutor . He said you're a funny guy ,you give good copy . Why don't you try being a jorno?So... I signed up for a degree in Spanish and latin american studies.

what a joey.

1. Sit down and write it.
2. Seriously. Don't just talk about it -- write whatever you have to write.
3. When it's finished, give it to a friend, get them praise it, then dump the friend because you know it's shit.
4. Rewrite it.
5. Get an agent.
6. If it's any good, the agent will tell you to rewrite it.
7. Hope the agent sells it to a publisher.
8. The publisher will get you to rewrite it.
9. If it gets published, wait for the reviews, wishing you'd rewritten it a couple more times.
10. Hope you make more than £50.73 in royalties.

Easy. ;)

Wise words, coming as they are from the man responsible for the book I am currently reading....

Hey! You too?
Which one do you read?
I'm actually reading "Damned if you do" right now.
It's got quite some funny stuff in it, although sometimes it's a little bit hard on the stomach. (for me anyway :) )
My favourite GH read must be issue 44 still.
