I just spent abouty six months playing megatapes. i never new how many i had collected over the years till i tryed loading all the games
HOURS of teeth grinding and headacke induced gaming
playing turrican 2 and finding all the secret stuff
PROBably one of the BEST c 64 games i have ever come across
it would be great if chips challenge was on bameboy advance ( i might actually buy one )... :)

The only megatape I ever 'played' was the first one (issue 26)
I just wanted to see the 'Last Ninja' demo. I also remember that Sensible Software demo "the day the universe died" (or something like that) where you could rotate spaceship sprites. I wonder what happened to that 'game'? (anyone?)
Oh yeah, and the Hubbard tune was MINDBLOWING!

Nearly everything was converted and put on the Zzap!64 CDs but I don't know if they've been actually put anywhere to download...

Or if you decided to get a GP32 (better for emulators I hear) then read this

Thanks for the link Rob - I am really after some of the later Megatapes, as they had some pretty good adventures on the tapes...

You're welcome.
It's really worth it getting the set of Zzap scans from Mort, that way you would have them all (tape images) including instructions & inlays.
Or you could tell me what you're exactly looking for as I'm willing to email them to you.
Just lemme know.

Let's come back to topic.
I would love to see all Megatapes online, and many Zzap! fans would too. Will they be available in the future?
