Post by Professor Brian Strain »

Issue 1 of Retro Fusion will be hitting ALL Gamestation stores throughout the UK w/c 10th April 2006. Very shortly you will be able to pre-order your copy of the magazine on the website and in doing so ensuring you receive Retro Fusion before it hits the high streets.

There are several high profile team members from the games industry:

First is Archer Maclean for Dropzone, International Karate, Jimmy White's Snooker, and more recently, Mercury fame. Archer has written a 3 page article on his restoration of an original Pacman cocktail cabinet.

Andrew Oliver has written a 4 page article on how it was like for him and his brother Philip developing the Dizzy games back in the 80's.

There are also a number of recognised Retro Gamer freelancers on board - Craig Vauham, Spanner Spencer and Andrew Fisher.

Looks great,
Will be preordering, and would do a sub as we don`t have a Gamestation here, unless they can be distributed in Game stores also (are they the same chain like Dixons and Currys? ) :D

Plus GAME all but stopped doing magazines at all during 2004, partly because they were planning their own and partly because the returns were killing them.

GAME now do their own in-store mag...

RETRO FUSION issue 1 is in Gamestation stores right now, or order it direct from the website.

Not in so many words :P
The way I read your initial message was that Game were only planning their own mag, I was just pointing out that it now exists...
