hi all :D .a quick tech question .i wish to connect my c64 to a normal cassette player to load software.i have a spare socket from a faulty commodore tape deck to use,but what colour wires do i use for sound transfer :?: any help appreciated.thanks,mike 8)

I don't think it'll work at all. Normal tape players are analogue, while the C64 datacassette players are digital. Connecting up your C64 to a regular tape deck won't work and might even blow it!

You can of course connect your C64 up to your PC and load all the software you'd like, do a search on google on x1541 lead or something like that
