Hi all,

I was looking at the ZZAP! store and noticed that you are selling scans of Commodore User from the 8 bit days. I was just wondering if you guys have any plans on doing the rest of the mags as well? (CU Amiga)

I know I would certainly buy a DVD filled with the rest of the CU Amiga scans all the way to the last issue. I never got into computers before the Amiga came out, hence I am not that interested in 8bit stuff. That being said though, I think that's an awesome service you guys have there.

Thank you.

Real life, real life!?
Don't tell us that you're actually trying to get yourself some real life, eh!
Or else I send them scan monkeys in!
I know where you 'try to live'!

I agree Mr Zzapback! Was quite surprised he was trying to use RL as an excuse for not scanning 24/7. His heart obviously isn't in it any more! ;-)

Heart, heart!?
Don't tell me he has a heart!?
Next thing is you telling me that he's actually trying to have a real life of some sort or other. Tsk, tsk.

Well, I have heard mention of him doing things with the garden and building walls etc.

Disgraceful!! Does he think the 5p per 24 hours we pay him to scan isn't enough or something??! Worse than Lloyd! :-D

I was just wondering.. what kind of shipping do you guys do to the states? Hopefully not by boat?

Mort always uses this boat called 'Titanic' for transatlantic shipment so I've heard. A while back.

Nice. Might have to wait a little bit then, eh?

Mr Zzapback only joking. We sent Mort over in a canoe with a bicycle charging battery setup so he can continue scanning. So it does take a while.

Surprisingly enough, I am joking. He sends everything airmail so it seems to take about a week to get DVDs to the States.

Hurm... heh.. As much as I appreciate the enthusiasm I was able to pick up on the humor parts.

That being said, Hooray for airmail. Just wanted to make sure that you guys actually did that. As some people would just go for the surface mail and be done with it. I have been on the receiving end of that one before. I think I waited about 5 months or so. Not sure what happened with that one. Steamboat maybe?
