I won a competition

It was a short story competition and I wrote something about a guy who thought he was the last person alive, who then got a phone call.

The prize was a series of signed boks by Jeffrey Archer which I still have somewhere.

If anyone actually has the issue with this in i would love a scan of it for old times sake.

So what did it all mean. There were thousands (millions) of people still out there he just didn't know about. Life was going on as normal in other cities that he didn't travel to and check?

I love apocalyptic stories and films, so this appealed to me.

Kind of reminded me of a film I watched recently called 'The Silent Earth'.

Do you mean The Quiet Earth?

Looks interesting, seems hard to get hold of now.

Whoops, typo alert!

That's the exact one I mean! Watched it last week. Not brilliant but lots of things going for it!

'The Silent Earth' may or may not be a text adventure based on it I may or may not be working on... ;)
