Wonderful.
I wonder who wrote that?

Nice piece of Thalamus history as well, btw.

The Newsfield article is getting better and better, even the DEF Tribute is in it now! (it wasn't me! 8) )
A must read, hopefully to be expanded in the future.

(btw, I think Craig is on top of it?)

Oh, ok.
I thought so, because of the extensive #107 covering plus linky.
Maybe someone over at Thalamus Book is updating it then.
Maybe Warren?

If you look at the page's history tab, you can see Barnaby Page was the last person to edit it.[/url]

I really, really liked Barnaby Page. Such a nice, polite, friendly guy. I always thought he was too smart to work at Newsfield.

Not that the rest of us were *thick*, you understand, just that Barnaby had an air of Guardian columnist about him rather than Newsfield employee.

I can be willfully thick at times. I'm pretty good at it.

But otherwise agreed. He was really funny as well.

Is Barnaby "So long ago"?

great insightful article (has to be an inside job), let it grow i say.

although what about the megatapes/disks? they surely deserve a mention because they were a total giveaway...forget this currently overpriced official xbox magazine with all their one level demos...zzap was always better vfm at a cheaper price anyway 8)

Nah. Besides, if I'd have edited it, I'd have mentioned the 107 print run and probably gone into more detail than any sane person would care about regarding the origins of the 107 artwork. It's a picture of Rogue Trooper! But he's no longer blue! And it's been welded to bits from Zzap! #31 and —*BANG*!

No... We did work out who So Long Ago was, but I've forgotten now. I'm sure someone else will come along in a minute and tell us...

Barnaby has registered under his own name.

I am instantly forgettable.

Didn't know that GL knew BP or did this happen in some sort of thalamus/LM cross over period

Nah, don't be daft. :) It's more a question of my poor memory, combined with the fact that you're coy about revealing your identity.
