Fusion Retro Books are doing Annuals this Christmas.

The main one is FUSION ANNUAL 2022, A5 size and 120 pages of new content.

You can add ZZAP and CRASH Annuals - these will be 90 pages of reprints from the A5 magazines plus 30 pages of new content. These will be A5 size too, with an option to add an A4 version. Other perks include signed prints and a ZZAP T-shirt.

This preoccupation with making everything A5 is depressing.

It’s down to cost and content.

FUSION has always been A5, so the Annual was A5.

Because the ZZAP and CRASH Annuals are reprinting content designed for the A5 magazine, it saves time and money to make it in that format. The compromise is that people can add on an A4 version, a simple enlargement.

Wow, that's pretty cool. There hasn't been a Zzap! issue on a shelf of a newsagents since Rob's "The Def Tribute to Zzap!64".
