I donn't know if anyone else saw it, but last week there was a new program on channel 5 in the UK called Getting on the Property Ladder where a property expert searched for a house with some first time buyers. The episode was in Ludlow and there were a good few shots of Victoria Wine and Barclays's bank. Near the end of the show they went into the estate agent and it was the one right next door to Victoria Wine. It was very nostalgic indeed!!

Ooh I think I remember somebody mentioning here that, that prog was going to be on, a few weeks ago. Pity I forgot all about it :(

So what's does an average house in Ludlow go for?

Got to be less than the €4000,000 (approx £250,000) a house in Dublin goes for (and that's a shit house in a shit area!!!!)

Around £120-£150,000. It's not as expensive as you might think, as although it's a lovely place to reside, it's not a handy commuter town for anywhere significant.
