Just doing some tidying up in the garage and found

1 x copy of Newsfeel the rarely issued internal newsfield magazine
1 x Ultimate Play The Game baseball cap given to me around the time Sabre Wulf on the speccy came out
1 x original piece of oli artwork

Brought back some memories...

Newsfeel? I hope you have your scanner warmed up and are about to scan it in for all of us to see? :)

Or pass it onto someone who'd be willing to *nudge nudge wink wink* ;)

Original Oli artwork would be damn nice... which piece is it?

You can see a sample of the Newsfeel internal mag by clicking on this link (right click and select "save target as..." or whatever to download it -- it's about 300K). It's accessed from gallery section #4 of my zzap! pages.

AFAIR, Newsfeel was an utter pile of shite unrelated to anything decent, funny, honest or meaningful. But, hey, that's just my opinion as someone with a brain.

That was fascinating - I didnt realise that Newsfield produced an internal mag. How long did it last and was it just a couple of pages per issue?

Don't know how long it lasted, but when I was there it ran to about four pages (I only scanned two because that was all I could bear).

The words "corporate" and "bullshit" come to mind, along with the word "humourless" -- though I have no idea why my mind should make these connections in relation to Newsfeel.

there were at least 2 issues

it was just the standard type of newsletter that quite a few companies do. I think it came about because newsfield was starting to play about using macs but hadn't got to the stage of doing full page makeup on them at that time

You didnt answer my question, 'So Long Ago'...

Are you an ex-Newsfielder?
