Hi folks, I have bad news and good news...

The bad news is you won't see The DEF Tribute to Zzap!64 this month,
the good news is that your eyes will pop out when you'll finally see why it took more time to bring it to the mass public, hehe.
Unfortunately I cannot tell you more (I'm sorry), but I tell you this:
You won't be dissapointed, and it's going to be HUUUUUGE!

DOn't worry, it's coming your way soon! 8)

ps
Ahem, including 6 pages of material from ex-editors and ex-staff, cool right? :D

Yes, Rob. Sounds very cool indeed. 8)

I'm sure it will be more than worth the wait.

I'd rather it was finished properly than released to some arbitrary deadline. Yes, it's nice to mark 20 years since the first issue, but it will still be 20 years on next month. Good luck with the finishing touches Rob, I'm really looking forward to it.

Yes I agree - Quality rather than being rushed! 8)

Looking forward to seeing it! :P

Yep, I'm a big fan of the "you'll see it when it's done" method. Take as much time as is needed and do the best job possible. :D

Hi lot,
thanx for the positive comments, and the patience.
Doing final touches now, Craig is helping out in an excellent way, turning all my horrible English into readable stuff and making it funnier along the way, in the mean time there's *something* happening in the background about which I'll inform you all as soon as everything is arranged, hehe.

Ta!

Rob

You know about the chorus line, the singing monkeys, the elephants dancing on spoons, and the 60-foot-long inflatable Ken D. Fish that's going to be placed atop Big Ben? Right, own up! Who told you? Augh!

OK, so maybe I was lying with the whole "elephants dancing on spoons" thing.

They're dancing on milk bottles.

I thought the plan was to use Gordon as a flying projectile (do all projectiles not fly anyway?) over the Thames, with copies of the mag under his arm to spread amongst the populous?

The elephants were cheaper.

My father was a barrage balloon, as you may know, but my ability to stay airborne is not what it was 20 years ago.

C'mon, Rob, where's that Zzap! tribute, then? Eh? Eh? ;)
