Just read through the tribute. Cracking job guys. Really well done.

Worth the price of admission for the liddonator's 80's shades pose alone :D

Yup. plenty of Liddon (and Minter) in the mag.
A nice job, I think, since they actaully didn't contribute anything personally (despite all my attempts)...hehe. 8)
Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.

It wasn't meant as a dig. Actually, it turned out even funnier this way? (loved your phonepic) :D

The only true dissapointment (for me) was that I couldn't get hold of Jaz.
On the other hand , it was a huge surprise to get response from Chris.

Glad you (and lots of others) like it!
Makes all those long nights in front of InDesign worthwhile. :D

@Korruptor
Ah, the red car. Where was the picture taken? Some sort of farm/landhouse?
And you're in the "Aw, come on Jeff" pic as well! 8)

YESSSSS!!!! Got out of the shower and my Def Tributes are here!!!!!

Although they almost didn't make it, most of the envelope was burst open1 :( Thankfully the mags are damaged.

Must get dressed and read it all now!!!

p.s. Rob, I LOVE the card that came with them! Don't remember you asked my permission to use my copyrighted photograph though! ;-D

p.p.s. Get yourself some bubble wrap padded envelopes! These Zzap's need lots of TLC (tender loving care)

Right I'm off to read the new issue of Zzap!! x-)

Funnily enough, that's Jeff's driveway... :D

We were house sitting the other Xmas and that's the "get up and feed the animals" pose, iirc. Might be wrong, they all blur after a while... ;)

Has anyone bought a copy of RG from WHSmith yet? There wasn't any on the shelves today and I assumed it was on sale now (they had cleared the old issue). I was told it will be in store from tomorrow but I don't really trust them as they have done this kind of thing before...

I assume he left off an important 'un' there. At least I hope so.

Got mine from Smiths but they hadn't put in on the shelves. We had to hassle a member of staff to drag a couple of copies from the big pallette of mags she was putting on display. :)

If it's in tomorrow, I'll try and take a few photos, Rob (providing there aren't the usual amount of cheeky gits who stand and read the mags all day!). :)

Of course I mean UNdamaged!!! :)

I've read about half of it so far and it really is zzaptastic!!!!!

There's such great material in it, I love the little bits of text at the botom of many of the pages as well and it's great to see the Ludlow "bank job" in there as well, I laughed out loud while reading it again.

It's a great design and print job too, it could only have been bettered by having a thicker cover.

How crazy is all of this? 20 years after Zzap's birth and 11 years after its demise and another issue hits the news stands (literally!) It's the magazine that the last issue of Zzap / CF could / should have been.

It's a very fitting end to Zzap. (well unless anybody is mad enough to take on issue 108 again!)
