The Def Tribute to Zzap!64 Revisited! (oh dear)

Hi folks,
while I was busy with the final touches from the 'leftovers' which will end up in the upcoming Retro Gamer (issue 19 appearantly, now I understand why they didn't stress me with deadlines, hehe) I thought about including those extra pages and the interview into the online pdf launch of the DEF Tribute.
But then I decided to leave the DEF Tribute alone as it is, and create a little extra magazine with the extended stuff in it.
But eh, with those two reviews, my interview, all response (the Rrap!) extra Oli stuff I got my hands on, together with some ideas I have, like:

*chasing JR for at least some comments (duddyroar from the MM site, got an interview out of him so...)
*interviewing Craig about his work and views on the project
* a (near) future visit to Ludlow report

it would easily turn into another interesting 'magazine' of 32 to 48 pages!!
I'm already working on it, so...

if there's anybody interested in making it better, providing ideas, pix, interviews (LeeT!) comments, rare stuff, weird facts etc. let me know.

Ta!

I just read that as a "visit to Ludlow airport". Oh man. Perhaps I shouldn't post here again until my brain comes back online.

How near in the future? The Food and Drink Festival is on this weekend (9th - 11th Sept), and it's pretty good, if you're interested. I'm going on the Friday.

And as for Ludlow Airport - if anyone in Ludlow claimed to have flown, they'd probably tie him to a stake and burn him as a witch...

Not that soon unfortunately. I believe Rob was thinking sometime around October.

Do you live near to Ludlow, you could always pop over when we are over and get a few free beers out of us! :) (well out of Rob anyway, we'd make him pay ;-)

Anyway, must get back to writing dissertation, 8 days to go and 80 pages to go:- here's what I have so far after half an hour
Chapter 2 Background

2.1 Introduction

2.2 JXTA

2.3 Derby
Pretty impressive huh??

Iain, when I met up with Mort last weekend he suggested another visit to Ludlow.

It would be great to gather a load of old Newsfield staff together for an evening/weekend of sight-seeing, reminiscing and elbow exercises...

Well I believe a visit is happening soonish, with Rob as well but dunno if many staff would be interested in turning up, might end up being a bit too fanboy like for them if there's too many of us :)
