Life On Mars

A science-fiction cliché: scientists from earth are sent to explore Mars. They discover some living creatures them, but then one of the creatures kill them. Now, there is life on Mars, but no one can return to earth and tell us about it.

You could turn it around and have human germs kill off the Martians, much as the Spanish carried diseases to Latin America...

But the earthlings sent a radio message about the life on Mars then the Martians were able to travel faster than the radio waves and got ahead of the transmission read what was said and then scrambled the message beyond readable then raced back to Mars and were angry at what the Earthlings had said about them and that is why they ate the earthlings and 2 this day, no one knows if there is life on Mars. End of scene.
