Terminal Man Originals

Post by Iain »

Got this email from Roger:
A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN THE TERMINAL MAN
— ALL 48 OF THE ORIGINAL ART BOARDS!

In a few months' time, we'll be offering the complete set on a piecemeal basis
at £225 per board (which includes the original text ballloon overlays and
a printed version as they appeared originally).

But it seems a shame to break up
the set if there's anyone out there
with the dosh
to pay for the lot, with a saving of £1,800.

So, a one-off opportunity at £9,000 for the complete set.
Instalment payment plan available, subject to status

WHAT YOU GET: 48 art boards painted in 1984 by Oliver Frey (three re-created in 2010), text overlays on a mix of acetate and tracing paper (the cut-out balloons are fragile, a few have suffered some damage). Two boards were stripped and trimmed to the picture area for exhibition framing years ago. Also — a luxury volume, hand-bound in leather, of the recently published collectors' edition of THE TERMINAL MAN. Shipping and insurance included.

This is not an auction. The first serious buyer gets the set!

Would be a shame to break them up. Anybody got £9000 lying around? :)

Are they getting a bit desperate or what? I mean, what's next!?

Can we rent Gordo?
Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.

I think their attitude is that rather than having them sitting in a drawer gathering dust, they might as well get some money for them.

Nice to see you are still around Lloyd! You haven't replied to my previous couple of emails. :(
