Thanks for putting these online! The CU preview page does need the issue numbers though...

Do you mean the issues with just the front cover scan and an issue number of "??" ? That's because later issues didn't have an issue number technically :(

I am after some magazine that have VIC20 reviews in them. I have just ordered the C&VG DVD, but can anyone recommend any others that have a good amount of VIC reviews?

Commodore User did cover a lot of Vic software in 1983 and also Commodore Horizons had its fair share also. Trying to get hold of the Vic Computing mags at the moment (forerunner to Cu).

Cheers Stephen :D

Have been tring to get VIC computing to no avail. I guess the question was really which other DVDs in the store are worth getting for VIC content?

EDIT: Sorry, reread your post. Cheers matey.

I've got all but two of the VIC Computing issues I believe. I think I have a couple of them in duplicate, will check. Once we've got all of them (either myself, or if Mort digs them up somewhere), then I'll pass what I have to him for scanning :)

Jeez Mort, you sent the C&VG discs quick :D

Am tempted to get the CU's now (need VIC stuff for research)
Any idea roughly when CU stopped covering VIC? (C&VG was issue 42).

I'd have to go back and look... around the end of 84 I think.

He does indeed!

I used to be the bottleneck but now that I've automated myself out of the job, it's a lot quicker! :)

Just to satisfy my curiosity, I booted up the CU DVD and checked a few issues. As said by the end of 84, there's pretty much nothing Vic left, a few reviews and the odd advert. The "incorporating Vic Computing" tag is dropped mid 85.

Well, he has done it again.

The One DVD has now been added to the Zzuperstore page.

This might be the last DVD for a while since Mort is actually not scanning like a mad thing these days (gasp!) and busy doing up his new house. There are still plenty more magazines for him to scan so he'd better get back to it soon! ;-)

Been a while but there's another scan CD available.

This time it's Raze magazine. Newsfield's second attempt to get into the multiformat marketplace. It only lasted 12 issues so I guess it wasn't too successful. :(

Here we go again... :)

Mort has finished scanning Page 6, an Atari, very long running magazine, from 1982 to 1998!!

And of course, it's now available in the Zzuperstore
