All Zzap Scans Now Online!! and more webspace too!

Post by Iain »

For the first time ever (AFAIK), the scans from EVERY issue of Zzap are now online! I just had to add another nine issues to complete the set. They started at 95 onwards to 104. The page viewing quota has been increase from 60 to 100 every 4 hours too!

The bandwidth of this site has also been doubled and server space increased from 600MB to 2GB!! Which means... more scanned issues!! The same goes for my other website so that leaves me with almost 3GB more to play with!

After your interview being published in a magazine going worldwide, the fame really went to your head, right!?

Tsk, tsk. 15 minutes are over.....now. :D

btw, really excellent job, but I'm not so excited by all those scans when they're all (relatively!) safe sitting on my harddisk, hehe. 8)

Well it's not done yet is it? Not in the Zzuperstore anyway, so I'm assuming it's not done....

I'm really waiting for the Your Commodore / YC scans though!

If Mort's going to do CCI I'd seriously started doubting his state of mind, please!
That mag is best forgotten, IMHO. 8)

Yeah, I was only joking. :) That, for me, was the worst of the bunch, and the quicker it's forgotten, the better.

Like I mentioned to Iain directly, I'd strongly recommend putting up a mid-era issue from every one of the scanned magazines, so people can actually "try before they buy", so to speak.

Er, just realised I don't either! And it's in joint first place with CFormat at the mo :-[ ]

Better get ftping them to me Mort! :-D

Re Craig's suggestion, it's a good one alright and not too much of a hassle to do now, but I don't like the idea of speccy stuff being on my site! I guess I can put them on my non zzap sites! ;-)

Well, I voted for Commodore Abuser...

And Iain, nice one! Good to have all the issues available like that, a useful research tool ;)
