OK, I've taken this for a spin and I
really liked it.
I think you've done amazingly well to capture the 'feel' of the original. I love the background music and authentic sound effects, as well. Overall, very well done!
A few minor nitpicks:
- I understand that it wasn't designed to run in wondowed mode but I think the windowed size is perfect (I find it much easier on the eye than in full-screen mode) -- unfortunately the speed of your ship seems to increase dramatically in windowed mode making things amusing but too difficult (at least for me).
- I wish I could use the joystick to navigate the menus
- "Redefine Keys" is misspelt.

Oh yeah, a real great adaptation of one of the best games ever.
I am enjoying it tremendously, well done! You did a terrific job on this, congratulations!
