My Combat Game

Post by Iain »

I reconnected up my disk drive to my back in action C128 and was just going through some disks to see if the drive still worked (which it does) and on a blank disk, what do I find but a not at all completed version of XCopy from the Amiga that I started to code and a version of Combat, which was actually pretty far on its way to being done, but not finished.

I thought I had lost that so it really put a smile on my face when I saw the directory and loaded it up. I'll add it to my C64 demos and bits page at some stage.

I flipped the disk and discovered an unfinished demo that I did that I also had forgotten about. It's called "horizontal rasters demo" but I didn't see any of them! Just a nice logo and big character fonts. I had such a feeling of pride rise up! Why doesn't anything programmed these days fill me with that?.. :(

I'll attempt to copy it to a .d64 using my 1541 Ultimate over the weekend.
