Ive been playing "wonderboy 3 , the dragons trap " on sega master system 2.. i thought the game was really hard till i found out you could press the PAUSE button to show the inventory... SILLY me... could have finished the game on my first sitting...but anyway >>>>played for a few weeks on and off and was thoroughly disapointed at the end to find that you couldnt play the game as HU-MAN ( the real wonderboy) or even get on a skatebored ( which is all i really wanted to do )... so wonderboy sucks! one thing im happy about is that i finished it without using anything but my trusty sword......even worse was once finished and the credits rolled>>> you had to turn the puter of to play again... ( it hasent been turned back on since
Tentatively clicks SUBMIT and cringes..oh well, If you can handle C64 you can take a joke.

I did like the end sequence to Flimbo's Quest and the pic at the end showing Flimbo & his girl.

Armalyte was good too. Mayhem in Monsterland was a cool ending as well.

Creatures 2 & Turrican 2 endings were my favourite...

The worst endings were for Arkanoid II (Revenge of Doh) and Metrocross (both completed with cheats), which simply said, "Game Over". I suppose they never expected you to have the patience to make it to the end - especially Arkanoid.

IMHO, very few "modern" games have given me the feeling of "im on my last life, am soo close to this.. knife edge.. come ON!! YYYEEAASSSHHH!!!" that I got during the 8-bit days.
Agreed... There is something very hollow about, e.g. in Half-Life 2 when they are congratulating you for making it this far when in fact you died about 10 times getting there.

On the other hand I'd hate to go back to the start of the game and have to play through the same levels over and over every time I died... maybe some kind of reward should be given for getting to a certain part without dying or something...

Always remember, the phrase "fight fire with fire" does not apply to non-metaphorical fires.

Max Payne games were so easy to complete - all you had to do was keep using the quick save option
Fave Game: Thrust
Fave Music: Ocean Loader (original)

I can't wait to see the other endings up and running!

You're kind of right-ish ...

It used to be my site many moons ago and then I passed it over to Frank to caretake it for me. Then Frank had to release the site back to me due to personal commitments.

I left the site to simmer until a few people in the scene made a request for its comeback, and here it is! :)

Keep watching as there is LOADS MORE to come :)
