Don't know if anyone here would be interested but I've had several sealed C64 Mastertronic Triple Pack's (originally sold at Woolworths) put up as first prize by the sponsor of a competition I'm running on my Mastertronic site. (There's also some UKRetro vouchers on offer by the way)

The competition iteself is a straightforward, well no I think it's quite hard really!, screenshot identification game with small portions of games from Mastertronic's C64 Range that need to be named some are pretty easy but you'd really have to know your stuff to get them all.

If you'd like a go take a look at my site, oh and it's free to enter of course!

I'd actually like what's on offer for my own collection but the UKRetro only had a few :-|

Had a look and I have spotted around fifteen of the games straight away, but I will have to do some homework to try and get a few more before I enter! 8)

Welcome to the forums BTW Alex! :)

Well it was the link posted on my site that made me come for a look. Also For a new site I've had responses to my postings pretty quick - I think this place is going to be popular!

It really does seem to be, not a new site though (being going since 1997!) just a new board. I am really suprised at how many messages are being written and with a relatively low number of registered users as well.

I perfer posting on it anyway, it's a lot easier to see where the new messages are etc.

The old board never used to get much activity - Well there would be about four postings in one day, then nothing for about a month. Yes I would agree that its these phbb boards that encorage more people to join in, with a better layout and more categories etc.

There were some heavy traffic periods though, and quite some cool topics.

But indeed for long periods the board could be quite 'dead-ish'.

Remember this one?
Well, wobbly, wobbly, it's nice to correct yourself, and reply to yourself, and TALK to yourself, and....anyway...
IS THERE ANYBODY LISTENING?????? (echo...echo)
nevermind....
...cool though, bulletin boards...
(fading footsteps...)
mumble, mumble...
(fading mumblings..)
That was one of my first posts back in april 2001!

Aww, now I'm getting all nostalgic and wobbly wobbly again:)

I liked always Mastertronic. Always I had simpathy for that company. I played to games of Mastertronic in C64 and then in Amiga. It´s a good site.

Slator, sorry can't remember if it was you but I did remember yesterday that I got sent some about 3 weeks back and with my typical organisation haven't updated them yet. I'll try and get it done on Sunday (I'm actually in work today :-( )
