kickstart II was the first c64 game that made me smile as it was the first c64 game i purchased, a good choice i reckon :)

after upgrading from the c16, seeing the better audio and visuals on my new c64 for the first time (as well as the added memory) sort of gave me that 'being at the arcade' feel factor.

"The Last V8", it had a voice on it going "V8, return to base immediately" but it was done so badly it sounded like a robotic Brummie with adenoids.

"Zolyx" because everyone in my family loved it.

Viz made me smile. Laugh even. Must've been the naughty humour.

Cliff Hanger by New Generation.

If you've not played it, it's based around the idea of movie stuntman Cliff Hanger and his brother Coat, re-enacting scenes from the Wild West. Each level has a Wile Coyote style trap for the evil Mexican, which you must trigger by jumping/shooting/throwing. Cannons, huge weights, boulders.

Cliff Hanger is great. Just remembered Trapdoor also. The animation on the main character was just amazingly funny. :D
