Monkey Magic

Hi there,

Did anyone ever play the Monkey Magic game ? I spent many long hours staring at the cartridge of it in our Kays Catalogues but alas never got the funds to buy it.

can anyone tell me what it was like ?

i've only ever played it on the C16 and jolly good fun it was too although it's just your old repetitive basic shooter on that format...not sure about the C64 version though.

NOt too sure if that one, the one I was thinking of was definitely a cartridge that seems to be a tape version as it has the loading screen.

Is anyone writing C64 games aymore ?

Yes, Protovision are still developing games, TMR of Cosine has released new titles through www.cronosoft.co.uk , Richard Bayliss is working on Sub Hunter http://tnd64.8bit.at , and Singular are apparently going to finish their Worms clone GRUBZ. Then there's Pinball Dreams, the minigame competition, the crap game competition, SEUCK titles....
