In the beginning?

Post by spinal_cord »

Does anyone remember/have a game called 'In the Beginning'.
I had it a long time ago, The only thing that stood out about the box, was it was beige, and had a nice message about how it would take upto 13 minutes to load. The game itself was coded in BASIC, and most of the gfx were standard ascii with the odd sprite thrown in. The idea of the game, was that you started out as a cell, and level by level evolved into man, with levels including guiding your cell around the screen to 'eat' other cells, guiding a small fishy type thing around eating platns and avoiding bigger fish. Being a sort of wood-louse and running and jumping over holes in the ground. I couldn't get past that level so i dont know what else there was.

Before anyone says, I'm not confused, and the game isn't Evolution.

Thankyou.
