I've been battling with this for 15 years, has anyone got any ideas?
Written below is as far as I've managed to get!
x numbers - 9 is circled in red (code for briefcase later on)
get short key
open box with short key
get large key
open west door with large key
[TEA CHEST ROOM]
x right box = coffee (not sure if you can somehow collect some?)
x left chest = tea leaves
x tea leaves
get new key
(Do NOT x middle chest as it has a british rail sandwich which puts you back to the start again!)
open south door with new key
(At this point I use the landing as a holding point for all used keys).
x dressing table
x clock = Green hand pointing to 2 (for briefcase puzzle later)
x paper = Blue 4(for briefcase puzzle later)
get long key
x toilet (There is a blockage here, have tried to x blockage because I wonder if rather than flushing it but no success, it is something that you can use?)
get clean key
open cabinet with clean key
get pop bottle
(drop all used keys)
get small key
x reeds (you can see the silver key, but if you try and get it you die from the fish)
(Cannot open patio doors in here, have tried slide etc. but with no luck!)
x painting = 5 yellow bannanas (for briefcase puzzle later)
get wine bottle
get bag of nails
x left plug
push left plug in fully
push switch marked door
get can of Hester's
turn tap with wrench
(Tells you about the bottle marked acid with a key in it!)
open wardrobe with long key
open cabinet with new key
(In the paragraph it tells you which order to put the code into the briefcase in)
turn lock to 9254
get shiny key
That's as far as I've got. I'm convinced that I've missed something to do with the big glass door in the lounge as now we have a key (shiny key) and nothing locked!
Hope this helps and please come back to me if you get anywhere!

Is this it? http://www.quandaryland.com/jsp/dispArticle.jsp?index=587 It's a PC solution, but perhaps it's the same game in a different format.
Who produced the C64 game? I was Bash the Barbarian for a while, and I've never heard of it

I'm guessing this is the game created with the Graphic Adventure Creator, which was on Commodore Disk User?
Sadly, http://solutions.c64.org doesn't list this one...

Yes, it was the CDU game! It was by Christopher Hester. I have searched all over the place for an answer, I guess I was hoping that someone might just have actually played and finished it!

I've found you a solution, but it's a download, not a web page. PM me your email address and I'll send it to you.
ETA: You have mail!
