oohhh.

Very cool! It's like a keyboard that's a book, or a book that's like a keyboard. :-&

Will we have it in time for Christmas?

There's only one word for that, and the word is: gorgeous.

Good work, that man.

I'll pass on your comments to the designer, I'm sure he'll be pleased.

Definitely hoping to get it all done for Christmas, but that depends on getting all the layouts wrapped up by the end of the month. Mayhem and Waz (Warren Pilkington) have been drafted in to help with the final editing and proof-reading, so fingers crossed.

Thanks guys!

Rob, it's a book packed with over 200 reviews of Commodore 64 games, from 1982 to the present day. Every review has screenshots, a scan of the cover, details of what format (tape, disk, cart) it was on and trivia about the game or the people behind it.

And Jeff Minter has written the foreword to the book, I can now reveal...

LOL, Mama Llama didn't make the cut in the end... it's favourable reviews of Ancipital, Batalyx and Iridis Alpha instead ;)

Oh, and a big thanks to Ant Stiller for allowing us to use his ZZAP-style caricatures in the book (and for drawing one of Andrew Rollings at such short notice! I owe you a beer, mate!)

No worries, Andrew -- it was my pleasure. Though I may hold you to that beer. ;)

And congrats on hitting the presses in December!

Yeah, that was the target. But with other things getting in the way (moving house, Andrew R changing jobs) and a desire to get this out of the door without any mistakes and factual errors means we've been working away for the last couple of months (with the assistance of Waz and Mayhem) to make sure nothing slips through...

Never mind, I'll send you a mince pie with your copy
