Might have to try this one out when it's finished. Wizball was a favourite of mine, still play it every now and again, although not in a fair few months.... must load it up again :)

i'll stick my neck out and say it plays just like the c64 version.
a hell of a long time was spent getting the player movement spot on.

I would have liked to have used a  emoticon here, like on Lemon, to express my joy at that news!

Instead, I'll just say, WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Note to Iain: Install an additional emoticon pack!!

Just thinking what a nice game this would be for the Wii -- all that shaking and twisting at the beginning, and the fine movements you need later on.

How's the music coming along?

Music wise - infamous (c64 remixer who's got a lot o stuff on remix64 ) has done the music, the title tune is cracking . there's a lovely warbly ingame tunette with a nice bit of piano playing , and a nice action bonus stage tune.

We are just waiting on getting the sfx done now. there's over 50 so its taking a while. over halfway there tho.

Sounds good! Would probably develop wrist ache quicker than using a Speedking, however.

wow, that looks an even better game than the C64 version which imho was always the best one. it looks absoultely cracking :D

i'll be sure to download it. fortunately i have my xbox controller hooked up to the PC, i just hope it accepts joysticks.

lol good idea. it should've been one of those games to of made it across all platforms to this day. i hope it isn't quite as easy as the C64 version though. may as well lose all your lives when you reach 999,999 points. always thought it a bit pointless to include it on the Scorelords page so i hope thos version doesn't have a score limitation

erm, swaying off-topic here...still haven't finished reading your novel yet Gordo, i can't recall the name but have it stashed away somewhere. i should really get around to finishing it if i ever pick up a novel again. but dead men scratching on coffin lids communicating with fellow corpses next door?, i'm scared stiff already, i haven't actually picked up a book in 2 years since :?
