Commodore Format FB page

Hi there,

I've created a page for people who were fans of the Future mag, Commodore Format, on Facebook.

I'll be adding bits of the mag's history to the timeline often and will be providing some good chunks of content - sometimes pics and thins you might not have seen before. I would really like for you to become a fan and to contribute any stories or material or thoughts - especially like to see Andy Fisher over there if you're reading mate.

It's at www.facebook.com/commodoreformat

It would get more recognition if Future wasn't so protective of its IP, although it is understandable :(

@Debit, I can guess where you got the cover scan for the header on the FB page with the Eason's sticker... ;-)

The image is all over when I was trying to find suitable pics and didn't know it was yours - I just liked the raggy look of it, sort of like a copy of the mag that had been in storage for years :)

My intention is only for people to have somewhere to enjoy and talk about their memories of Commodore Format, so sorry for any offence caused - the image has now been changed. Glad to see you have liked the page Iain, this website's been a source of a lot of enjoyment for me and I hope people enjoy discussing CF on the FB page even a tiny bit as much! :)

All the best.

Wow, no offence has taken. I was just pointing it out since it's like a watermark. There's no problem you using it on the FB page at all!

A Steve Jarratt Q+A was added this morning to the page - it will be of interest to old ZZAP! readers too I hope!

Thanks Ian. Yeah, I'm trying to get as many people involved as possible and it's great to have Steve's approval. It's not the last we'll see of him on the page - loads more cool stuff over the next few months.

We've now added a lengthy and really interesting chat with Andy Roberts to the FB page. There are a few mentions of Newsfield and ZZAP! in there too.

All the best, and hope you enjoy.

Quite a lot of unseen content over on the FB page now, largely thanks to a big box of stuff found by Andy Roberts in his shed! There are now interviews with Steve Jarratt, Andy, Mike Roberts and more to come - plus full sets of subs newsletters, all the CF extras (like the diary), monthly features and a lot of cool CF chat.

Next month's feature will celebrate 20 years (!) of Mayhem In Monsterland - and more specifically, CF's moment of mischief. Let us know what you think about that 100% review here (click link below!) and we'll include the best next month.

https://www.facebook.com/CommodoreForma ... =1&theater

Next month's feature will also include some behind the scenes stuff on Mayhem that's never been revealed before!

If you like the CF page all we ask is that you share and spread the word, the more people get involved the more likely we can launch some bigger CF type projects next year! :)

More new and exclusive content up today for CF fans! Andy Dyer's never spoken about working on CF - until now. He's got some great lines in this piece, hope you enjoy.

First Commodore Format article in 18 years :)

Simon Forrester starts our 20 years of Mayhem In Monsterland series:

And more new content today!

As well as Simon's Mayhem piece, we also got chance to do a Q+A with him - answers a fair few questions that have come up on these forums over the years. It's a really great read, this one - hope you enjoy.

Great interview and a reminder to our non Facebook readers, that you don't need a FB account to be able to click and read these articles! :)
