Has anybody thought about expanding this site to include the predecessor to Zzapp 64.

PCG was an excellent multiformat magazine. I have 4 surviving copies which include the Ronnie Reagan & Maggie Thatcher cover, the Ghostbusters Cover, the PCG Demo Tape Cover, and the last ever issue.

I believe Mort was/is in the process of scanning these in, maybe he doesn't have all the issues though? Mort?

These are my most wanted scans of all time. In my opinion I thought the mag was more classy than Zzap!
I'm just hoping they get scanned soon... :(
Can't wait to read the 'Game Of The Month' reviews of Loco, Boulderdash and Forbidden Forest again.... ahh the memories.....

Hi, AFAIK Mort has only scanned in the following issues of PCG:
november and december 1984, january 1985.
So, I guess all other issues are welcome for scanning.

A prize for the first one who can pick all three future Zzap reviewers out of the following PCG reviewers list. :D

I met Steve Cooke when he was working for EMAP on some odd Mac magazine, and he took us out to lunch. He had a friend who said the word "shit" a lot, but he himself spent most of the meal staring at Kati's tits... Just an observation, y'know, for a bit of local colour.

Anyhow, why does the name Jeremy Fisher ring a bell? Did he do anything else, or am I confusing him with the children's fictional character?

Steve Spittle has a great name. And the guy next to him, David Wright, looks psychotic. Or maybe he's got a deformed ear and is hiding it from the camera.

Maybe because of Andrew Fisher? (Prof Brian Strain aka Merman)

Btw, it's obvious that the least moronic looking lads ended up at Zzap, isn't it?

Rob Patrick didn't want his picture published, I wonder who's the guy on the picture?
And a girl aboard, Samantha who wants to be called Sam. (Denial!)
And David Wright's story is particularly odd...oh well.

I have to say, Big K and PCG where quite good, and came pretty close to Zzap, in a way, I guess, err.. sorta, y'know 8)

Maybe Steve would have understood if you had done the following:

>GET KNIFE
Gordon Picks Up The Knife

>ATTACK STEVE WITH KNIFE
Steve runs from the table with vague threats of summoning The White Wizard.

Ahem!

You're not confusing Jeremy Fisher with Jeremy Spencer are you? :?

And yep, I think I was confusing Jeremy Fisher with Jeremy Spencer. My head feels much clearer and lighter now... I'm floating... I'm floating...

Jeremy Fisher is a character in the Beatrix Potter children's novels. He's a frog.

I'm not having any luck transfering the tape sadly... might be one of those problematic things. Will let you know.
