Highbury went bust and Imagine (publishers of RG) have stepped in and bought many of their gaming titles. Apparently the next issue of GamesTM will be published in the next month or so (Issue 41 doesnt seem to have made it to the printers).

:-o Wow this is news to me, it's strange as well, since I bought the last issue of Games TM (40), the first time in a couple of years and now I find out it was the last one (with it's original owners anyway). Why do the good always die young? :(

I guess the choice of having 4 different covers (I hate that, just a cheap extra sales tactic to screw over collecters) for issue 40 was a last ditch attempt to get more sales/money in for the month.

My sources tell me the new issue is due in a week or so, don't know if it will be #41... Subscribers should continue to receive the mag from Imagine, but if you missed issue 40 get down to the shops and buy it.

It's got a great article about Nick Pelling in it...
