Nooooo! I *never* take the piss :)

Seriously, if you're sticking it online I'll put a link to it from my site. (Just tried the Antiriad remake, btw, and find it a bit CRAP. Glad it's not one of yours.)

yeah - i didnt like antiriad either, the gfx look very hurried.
there's a few crap ones, some really guduns tho..

wizball is fantastic ( not finished yet tho )
and impossaball is also a fine remake

the mag is coming along nicely , iam doing all the layout and art on my own (well apart from 1 teeny bit of oli frey art ).
so fingers crossed it will go down well .

by the way - you may need a file called cncs32.dll (or something similar when you run my games....

just look in the links section (right at the bottom) on www.remakes.org

hope you enjoy em anyway.

It is: very impressive. I'm downloading R-Tronic as I write, and like the look of Lunar Rescue from the screens, but haven't been able to download it yet (for some reason the bugger's crashed on me twice).

Seriously, (really?) I don't know which beach is closest to your place, but in case you're facing the Nordsea side, WAVE! I'll be on the other side at Hoek van Holland with me kids.

Sweating it all out!

Well, even if you hadn't made it in a fortnight, I would have said it was a really neatly programmed adaptation of Robotron. Everything about the remake side of it "feels" right -- speed, bullet numbers, the weight of enemies bearing down on you -- it's a really nice program.

The only minor thing I have with most of these remakes is a lack of joystick support: I would have loved to have been able to configure my sidewinder to play it; keys have always been tough for a dumbo like me. Unless you tell me it's all in the readme file, that's the only problem I have with yours. But honestly, from what I've seen of the others, you're in with a good chance: nice attract screen, good, accurate game with some nifty effects, and a cheeky paradroid sample :) .

Still unable to download Lunar Rescue, though.

Give that man a biscuit for the first fat gordo joke in this thread :) . Anyway, I gave you a wave from Studland Bay, nr Bournemouth. It bent its way round the Channel and should have reached you about 3.46pm -- and had you been looking, you might have seen it. ;)

Yeah -- I've got a 3K modem which needs hand-cranking before it'll even consider downloading. ;) I'll try again now.
