Hello,
Just thought I would drop a note since I figured all of you magazine junkies would be interested -- Ziff Davis Publishing has put the first 100 issues of Computer Gaming World up on the web for free in PDF format. This is an official release from the publisher, so no need to feel guilty. You can get them at
http://cgw.filefront.com
CGW was the first computer game magazine in the US and also the longest lasting; its last issue is #268. The first 100 issues cover the range from 1981 to 1992, so you can expect a lot of Apple, Atari, C64, etc. game coverage.
This scanning project was chiefly the work of Stephane Racle at http://cgw.vintagegaming.org I contributed a few issues too. The mag was pretty newsletter-y for most of the 1980s, but still I hope you enjoy them.
