Other retro mags on dvd ?

Post by alain91 »

Hello everyone here! :)

First, sorry, I am french  , so please excuse my engrish ;)

I just discovered this site, and it is the heaven for me, like the excellent lemon64 !

Years ago, I owned a c64, and used to read Computer & Video Games, it was really a marvelous magazine..
I tried to buy old issues on ebay, but the shipping prices are awfull..

Seeing that it exists on a dvd is marvelous!! Thanks a lot to you ! :P

Sometimes I read Edge, it seems that old issues were better.. but..

And last week, I discovered Retro Gamer, it seems really good, but older issues are unavailable..

Do you think that some day, a retrogamer dvd will be available ?..
or even edge?

Thanks for reading,
Alain

Certainly not when they are still available and Edge would take a hell of a long time to scan. Been around quite a while. But where there is a will, there's Mort.

If somebody can manage to get a pile of those mags in front of him, he scan them automatically! :)

If Mort tried selling Edge scans, Future would be on him like a pack of wolves, not least due to the new FILE collections that are being issued. As for Retro Gamer, I believe plans are afoot for Imagine Publishing to release a digital version of the back issues, although as this is only in the planning stage, I've no idea what issues it will cover (although the initial idea seems to be "from the start, until the DVD runs out").
