hello everybody help with pokes in emulators

hello i am zzap fan from athens greece.i was looking to do some cheats(pokes) on some games from the zzap tips pages and i saw that on the emulators i have they cant do a software reset.one of them when i do a soft reset eveything freezes and does nothin.am i doing something wrong?cna you help?

Well I know with the CCS emulatyor you can do a soft or hard reset on the main options screen (when you press F9).

Dunno about other emulators though.

VICE also has a reset option.

you can try using the action replay mk6 cartridge rom which is available on the Lemon64 site. if you use it with the CCS64 emulator (the best one i believe), you can press Alt-F to freeze the game, press E on the menu then enter your pokes, and then F3 to restart the game where you left of.
