'Zzap' Black

Post by Iain »

'Zzap' Black was born at 6:39pm yesterday (29th April).

A buster of a boy weighing 4.4Kg (or 9lbs 11oz for you imperialists! ;-) )

I was telling him about Zzap and playing C64 and it seems like he can't wait! :-D

May I offer you the most belated congratulations on the birth of a child that anyone in the history of the world has ever offered? :-)

Seriously, I'm very happy for the both of you. It's the most fabulous, disturbing, wonderful, intrusive, life-changing thing that can happen.

Take care now!

It's certainly life changing Gordon! In good and bad ways I guess but I think the good out-way the bad. :) If only the bugger would sleep more during the day and give his old Dad a longer rest!

I think the sleep thing settles down when they're about 27... :-)

But before that they never stop talking! Aaaaaargh!

Parents spend the first five years of a child's life encouraging them to talk and walk... and the next fifteen telling them to shut up and sit down.

This year, mine turn 17 and 15.

Anybody who thinks it gets easier is in for a shock. The 'pain' just morphs and changes.
