Muttley Plays: ZZAP! Classics

Post by PaulEMoz »

A good few of you here are probably aware of a chap known as Muttley - if you aren't, he frequents a number of retro sites. He's just begun a project which, I think, will be very interesting.

He's called it ZZAP! Classics, and his intention is to play every single ZZAP! Gold Medal and Sizzler, record it and upload it to YouTube. It's not a comprehensive play-through, just a flavour of the game with some (colourful) commentary and opinion. It's a great idea, and one I wish I'd thought of for my blog (although I would have been writing rather than videoing).

To make it easy, I'll post the first three links here... if you like, you'll probably want to follow or subscribe or whatever it is you do.

Muttley Plays ZZAP! Classics - Introduction.
Muttley Plays - Elite.
Muttley Plays - Airwolf.

Apparently they won't all be as long as the Elite one! The Airwolf one bears this out... I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.
They Were Our Gods - a website charting my progress on an upcoming book of the same name, about the UK gaming scene in the 1980s.

Just watched the intro. Nicely produced!

Wow, that issue 1 cover scan by Mort is very crumpled!! We must see if we can get a better version of that on the site / DVD.
