Yea guys, I live in Mineral, VA USA and rode out the quake.
I was in a Subway Restaurant bathroom and had just finished shaking hands with the President when it hit.
Had been in other quakes in Turkey however this one was different in that it lasted for a really long time.
No damage at home and it appears only minimal damage in the county.

Saw a very funny image yesterday that showed the "devastation" - a white plastic lawn chair tipped over with the slogan I Survived 8/23/2011...
...but yes it is serious, hope that there wasn't major damage.

I live in Mineral, posted the question and voted F No myself because it was really a non event to anyone else and the talking heads just won't stop talking about it ( U N T I L ) now that Irene has come and gone through Mineral and we have had several aftershocks during the storm and still, everything is OK here in Mineral.
New York, that's a different matter as they are still getting slammed by high water.
