Newsfield Reunion

Post by LeeT »

As its almost twenty years since Newfield starting publishing magazines, I wonder if any of the ex staff have thought about organising a reunion?
From my interview project of last year, I think that some of the people are still in touch with others, and I would think that there is only a small percentage that wouldnt be interested.

Perhaps a night at The Bull Inn in Ludlow?

Yeap, I suggested this a while ago, there was a response that considering most of them weren't interested in issue 107, they wouldn't be interested in a reunion, but I think they probably would.

Having it in Ludlow would be pretty cool.

Have a Zzap staff version of the Musicans Ball. Load them with alcohol and start the tape rolling! ;-)

Iain

Any updates on whether the ZZap reunion is happening?

Sometime in April 2005 is probably about the right time to hold it.

I very much doubt most of them would be. You're better off seeing who shows up to one of the BIT Live events.

Err, what do you mean Iain? (here we go again!) :D
Once again I emerge from beneath a massive pile of paper which makes my desk groan to bring you the world’s most amazing posts.

Well I don't actually mean his physical size (unless an off licence has opened near his house) but trying to convince him to go, see the thread about the kidnapping idea...
